Human Resources Generalist (Department of Human Resources)

Position Description:

We are seeking a talented and dependable Human Resources Generalist to join our growing organization. This position provides immediate support to the Director of Human Resources to assist with the day-to-day operations of the human resource functions and duties including but not limited to participating in our recruitment efforts, benefits administration, HR policy and program administration, and training and development efforts. The ideal candidate will have broad experience in all aspects of Human Resources and up-to-date knowledge of state and federal laws.

Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, you will:
  • Assist in the talent acquisition and recruitment process as well as onboarding and new-hire orientation, applicant tracking and record keeping
  • Assist in benefits training and administration to include trouble shooting and resolving employee issues, reporting and communicating information to employees
  • Support the HR department in the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company
  • Maintain employee-related databases; prepare and analyze reports that are necessary to carry out HR department and company functions
  • Perform administrative duties associated with human resource compliance including the preparation and maintenance of company organization charts, employee handbooks, policies and procedures manuals
  • Prepare and maintain confidential personnel, medical, and training files of active and terminated employees in compliance with applicable legal requirements
  • Provide administrative support as necessary to the Director of Human Resources
  • Participate in cross-company HR functions and projects as needed

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years human resources generalist experience
  • High degree of integrity, strong work ethic, and evidence of practicing high level of confidentiality
  • SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR designation preferred
  • Prior experience working in HRIS is a plus
  • Knowledgeable of federal and state employment laws, HR procedures and practices
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of employees and management
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency

Laboratory Assistant (Contract Research Laboratory)

Position Description:

We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant for our Contract Research Laboratory who will perform immunology testing of client specimens collected from both pre-clinical and clinical studies using the following test methods: ELISPOT, ELISA, flow cytometry, etc. You will help support our quality improvement projects in conjunction with QA, support our quality system by data quality control, communicate with fellow laboratory personnel, maintain laboratory equipment, write reports, etc. All work is performed according to general laboratory safety standards, internal standard operating procedures (SOPs), client protocols, and applicable international, federal and state regulations.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • Proficiency in cell culture and sterile technique desirable
  • Preferably at least one year’s experience within a GLP/GCP compliant laboratory
  • Experience in T cell immunology using ELISPOT, ELISA and flow cytometry is preferred, but not required
