Cryopreserved Human Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMC) are an invaluable resource for researchers investigating immune responses in vaccine development, drug discovery, cancer treatments, and many other fields involving Immune Monitoring.

Cells retain >90% viability upon thawing, with functionality comparable to freshly isolated PBMC. Donors are available in batches of up to 1200 vials of identical cellular material.

Cryopreserved, standardized batches of human PBMC purified from healthy leukapheresis donors are the ideal reference samples for ELISPOT and all Immune Monitoring applications.

Each donor is pre-tested for NK cytolytic activity and for antigen-specific T cell cytokine responses by measuring the secretion of IFN-γ, IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, and IL-17 in ELISPOT functionality testing.

T Cell Reactivity

IFN-, IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, and IL-17 recall responses have been determined for several Class I- and Class II-restricted antigens.
Pooled PBMC
Pooled PBMC from equal numbers of healthy male and female donors.
All donors are prescreened, selected and processed per the European Pharmacopoeia guidelines - no NSAIDs administered for one week and no steroids for one month prior to aphaeresis.
ADCC Fc Receptor Polymorphism
Select cells from donors who have been characterized for polymorphisms at the FcγR3A loci.
Polymorphisms in the FcγR3A gene have been shown to affect performance in ADCC
PBMC can be used as assay controls or reference samples for ADCC.
Cytokine Characterized Control Sample with Antigen
Samples are characterized for reactivity to IFN-γ, IL-2, IL-4, 1L-5, and IL-17.
Control samples and antigen are provided for use as internal controls in clinical trials, or for assay development and validation.
